Delta Daydreams Duck Club was founded in 2005
by Jimmy Barton and Charles Mullins, after searching for several years
for an affordable, family oriented waterfowl club. The
frustration of this search and the ever increasing pressure on public
land prompted Charles and Jimmy to form their own duck club. The
ever increasing popularity of duck hunting has driven the price of duck
club memberships and duck land to an all time high.
So what’s in a name?
Why Delta Daydreams Duck Club? Well if you are anything like us,
we are either duck hunting, working on duck holes, planning our next
hunting trip or spending those long summer days daydreaming about duck
hunting, thus the name Delta Daydreams. Toxey Haas with Mossy Oak
said it best,” it’s not a passion, it’s an obsession”. I would venture
to take it a step farther and say it’s a way of life……
Duck hunting aside, the
Mississippi Delta is a special place. The Mississippi Delta has the
most fertile soil on earth and the heritage and culture run deep. From
Dundee to Midnight, from Holly Bluff to Holly Ridge, from Rome to
Money, from Swan Lake to Bourbon, from Mossy Lake to Wolf Lake from 4
mile to 6 Mile the Delta is a truly captivating place. Many ask what is
it that draws you to the Delta? I simply shrug my shoulders and
proclaim that I don’t know. I do know, but most wouldn’t
understand the explanation anyway.

Matthews Brake. We have also leased 1000 acres that is surrounded by
Sky Lake WMA and bordered by Will Primos private hunting land, Rivers
Run. We have private access to Sky Lake, Sky Lake Swamp, 4 Mile Lake
and Wasp Lake. We have trophy deer hunting, duck hunting and some of
the best fishing in the state. We are limiting our memberships to 20
members at $2800 per membership. Each member can kill 2 bucks and 3
does and we duck hunt in the mornings only. These properties have
deer that will score in the 165” range. See trail cam pics link above.
Delta Daydreams is a family friendly
environment, and we encourage and promote the involvement of children,
grandchildren and spouses. We do not allow excessive drinking or all
night partying at our facilities. The occasional cocktail is
permitted, however if a wild party place is what you are seeking then
look elsewhere. Drinking and hunting is prohibited at all times.
We have approximately 3000
acres leased for the upcoming season. The land consists of various
types of duck and deer hunting land. We have pit blinds, sled blinds,
natural cover blinds, layout blind hunting, timber, and working fish
ponds. We have rice fields, bean fields, corn, millet, and natural
vegetation. We can flood a large portion of our duck holes and have
water control structures in place on most of our duck holes.
We have excellent early
season teal hunting. Dove hunting is excellent throughout the season.
We consistently kill gadwall, blue and green wing teal, widgeon,
mallards, pintail and all types of diving ducks.
Delta Daydreams is a year
round club. We have some of the best fishing in the state of
Mississippi.
